My Impression to MasterChef Junior Season 2

MasterChef Junior II Contestant (Inside TV)

I have been watched MasterChef US (Adult) from season two until season five, and MasterChef US Junior from season one to seasone two just in three month. For me, each season of this cook competition show have their own best, but especially to say, for me MasterChef Junior 2 is uncomparable.

I knew MasterChef franchise for some years ago. But, never notice that the cooking show would be so fun, and bring so much joy to watch. Until now I just watch MasterChef US adult and Kid, never watch another MasterChef franchise outside of US version, it simple to know why. I am college student, who not able to afford television. So the only way I watch them is through online streaming.. Thanks to God, I found all MasterChef US adult and junior easily on youtube.

I loved this show is just like the common reason why MasterChef Junior become the most favourite television channel in America. The contestant were cute, kiddy, but in the same time seems like not too precocious sort of way.

And absolutely by this show I found my interest on cooking even I am not able to cook so much thing right now, because I just have one rent room. Even though with this condition my creativity and my knowledge about food increased. I know qualified food, cheap food, know to cut, make simple dish, know to judge food, simply my appetite of food taste going to next grade.

The reason why I just write MasterChef Junior 2 review because this is the only MasterChef  that I watched and read contestant review regularly every week. So, I felt them through waiting every week.

A New Hope

After rooting to Sarah in MasterChef 1, just like every American, I am very rooted to Oona and Abby. They both was so adorable and talented by their age. By this season, they are my new hope, tend to see the youngest competitor with BIG potential to reach MasterChef Junior trophy.

Oona

First, Oona. She is young, cute, gorgeous, and really smart. She is a wry girl, with 80s woman taste like when she said better to make benedic egg rather than make a pancake ha.. ha.. ha... It just funny to hear, this little girl taste was not like common kids. Oona is also very smart, one of her very wise word that really make me speechless (see right image), because the analogy she made was exceptional for me in her age.

Oona has very big potentioal as home cook. She won one individual challenge, and some of her cook has been considered high quality. And I think Gordon Ramsay have his own special perspective to this young home cook. Particularly, when I saw Gordon said to Oona that she probably be the first ever girl MasterChef Junior winner despite of she was eliminated after team challenge in Pop Up Restourant in episode five. Actually, when Oona eliminated, it's not Oona's first bottom three, it was her third. But, Oona dish always on the top of the bottom for twice. In every bottom three, its hard to watched Oona standing on elimination board with her teary eyes. Oona was the essential to this show, she is always being the main character in every week.

Abby

Second is our very own Abby, She is 8.5 yo bespectacled girl with sweet baby talk quality. Abby is very talented that even Joe Bastianich said that She has very big potential. In fact Abby won individual challenge with just two ingridients, Salmon and Asparagus in week four, her capacity is mind blowing for me and also for the judges. She also capable as strong leader which led her team to win Pop Up Restourant challenge that was eliminated Oona.

Like Oona, I also like a wisdom from Abby (see left image). For me the words describe something so deep with simple mindset. And this one make me believe She has very kind dad.

Two Talent Strikes

Even I love Oona and Abby, I still in my objective observation. All this home cook in MasterChef Junior was outstanding. But, the most of them and I think qualified to take off their apron for Cheff outfit was Sean and Adaiah.

Sean

Sean probably with the most sophisticated young home cook, he could bring rich delicacy to food with natural talent of cook. Even Joe Bastianich sweared to God if he believe that Sean would open up a restourant. He even appreciate Sean with $ 20 for his dish in first week.

He won 3 individual challenge, and 1 team challenge which bring him to weekly succeede strikes to other contestant of this comptition.

I also think that he would reach semifinal with closed eyes. But I was wrong, He was eliminated with Oona in fifth week.

Adaiah

Adaiah probably a young home cook that much people believe deserve to go to finale because she has good technique, and has  a good flavor to food. In this show, Adaiah has been won 3 individual challenge and 1 team challenge. Her ability is somekind like Sean, very awesome. 

When Adaiah asked what she will do after won the whole competition and get the $ 100.000 prize by Gordon, she replied that she would buy a dirt bike, grand piano, and guitar that make me believe she has very very cool family.

Unfortunatelly, she was not belong to Masterchef Junior Adaiah after lost the Salmon cook battle in week six.

Return of Champion

Finally we met with two contestant that have been gain their power to win this whole competition, Samuel and Logan. Even for me itself, its kind not really satisfied because I expect to another contestant like Oona and Abby who come to finale.

Samuel

Samuel is the biggest kid in this season, he probably the kid thet people widely see him look like Alexander the first winner of MasterChef Junior. But, unfotunatelly he was lost the battle with logan in finale.

Samuel is the one of contestant who have very old style. Sometime he talk like philospher (see left image), dressed like adult, even he bring briefcase to save his restourant concept, just bring him to next 20 years from now ha.. ha...

Samuel won two individual challenge, and lost in one team challenge. But, even tough Samuel lost he was saved by judges, set aside Sean, and Oona. I believe why Samuel saved because he can rule, and show that he have more leadership skill : vocal, strong, confident.

Overall Samuel have rich taste of cook. And reflect from his restourant concept, I believe he much influenced by french cuisine.

Logan

Its suprised to know Logan come to finale, and became champion of this show. Because Logan show us his really capability near to last week, after he won Salmon Cook challenge. But, I undestand he have positive feeling to bring hime being good learner who upgrade himself every week.

I believe Gordon Ramsay influenced him so much, by the week when Gordon hug him, and personally motivate to him in Pop Up Restourant.

After all this show, finally we know that Logan who uplift the trophy high after he bring the judges very sophisticated dish.

Congratulation Logan, You are the real Jedi. 

I believe all the contestant need to watch by current restourateur, it simple because their potential could be rival or partner..!!

Thanks To MasterChef Junior 2

I really enjoy to watch them, and I hope it woud be repeat for season 3 in next January 2015. But I pretty sad to know Joe Bastianich step down for this show after it. Because Gordon, Joe, and Graham is gratifying to this show alongside.
